Abstract

A letter from Albert Hafner to his fiancée Elizabeth H. Chandler in Massachusetts. He writes his marriage proposal in words for the first time, but tells Elizabeth he has meant to marry her since the moment they met. He says she is the woman he wants to be his wife, but he will wait to let her decide if she wants to marry him.
