Abstract
A cartoon referring to the Wisconsin primary for the 1952 presidential election. In it, Robert A. Taft tries to win the high striker or "ring the bell" game. Dwight D. Eisenhower is seen holding elephants to represent the Minnesota and New Hampshire primaries.

A cartoon depicting a diminutive man about to strike a mallet on a high striker game, the bell at the top of which reads "Wisconsin primary." Behind him stand a man in a suit smoking a cigar and telling him, "Ring the bell and win an elephant!" a woman in a dress with a label "the nomination," and a caricature of Dwight D. Eisenhower in his military uniform who is smiling and holding two elephants labeled "Minnesota" and "New Hampshire."
