Abstract
Dwight D. Eisenhower is wearing stereotypical Japanese dress with a mortarboard. He is holding an ax labelled "Hate the USA" and is chopping down a tree labelled "Democracy in Japan." The man's outfit is labelled "School of Red Intrigue and Terrorism" and he is saying "After all it's just us patriotic students." This cartoon is in reference to the Anpo Protests of 1959 and 1960.
