Abstract

A cartoon in reference to the Geneva Summit held with Dwight D. Eisenhower, Prime Minister Anthony Eden, Premier Nikolai A. Bulganin of the Soviet Union, and Prime Minister Edgar Faure of France. Also in attendance were John Foster Dulles, Harold Macmillan, Vyacheslav Molotov, Antoine Pinay, and Nikita Khrushchev. The cartoon has a bundle of bound papers on a desk labelled "Russian participation" which is attached to a string a bear is holding in the distance.

Alt Text

An illustration of a desk with a sign reading, "Big Four talks," on which a bundle of papers titled "Russian participation" is sitting. In the distance, a cartoon bear is seen poking its head above a hill and holding a string that is attached to the papers, implying that it could pull the papers off the desk at any time.
