Abstract
A cartoon related to war bonds. A man sits in a chair with a newspaper headlined "Good News from All Fronts." Adolf Hitler labelled "False sense of over-optimism" says "Isn't that swell? Now you can relax. Why buy more bonds? Shucks, man, you've got the war practically won."
Alt Text
A cartoon depicting two men, one in a suit seated in an arm chair holding a newspaper with the headline, "Good news from all fronts" while the other leans atop the armchair and thinks, "Isn't that swell? Now you can relax. Why buy more bonds? Shucks, man, you've got the war practically won." The second man is drawn to resemble Adolf Hitler with devil horns and tail, and a box beside the figure labels him as, "False sense of over-optimism."
