Abstract
A cartoon with Nikita Khrushchev with a quote by Rudyard Kipling from 1898: "When he shows as seeking quarter, with paws like hands in prayer, that is the time of peril - the time of the truce of the bear." A bear standing on its hind legs can be seen behind Khrushchev.
