Abstract
The ever growing nature of transportation and its increasing demand on the use of non-renewable energy resource is a burning issue throughout the world. Many nations (e.g. China) are introducing policy measures to control the consumption of energy in transportation sector. Also, the environmental impacts of the growing vehicle fleet and their increasing fuel demand are key issues in environmental planning. Bangladesh government also introduced CNG for vehicles for achieving some environmental Benefits. Yes some benefits have been achieved. But the country is suffering from acute gas crisis. Traffic congestion is making the Dhaka stagnant. Number of car increased many times for the lower cost of CNG comparative to other fuel. So the authors brings some issues in front which is very significant. Authors are very interested to do researches for the Urban Planning of Bangladesh.
