Abstract
Phosphate elevator at the Port of Tampa. Phosphate mining in the Tampa Bay region occurs in the upper watersheds of the Alafia, Little Manatee and Manatee rivers. Taken as part of Horizon 2000, a project adopted by local government to address concerns of growth management by the year 2000.
