Abstract
Guests attending the launching of a newly constructed barge from the Misener Industries shipyard located at 5353 West Tyson Avenue in Tampa, Florida. The barge was named in honor of former Misener vice president James L. Brown Jr. after he died from a plane crash the year prior.
Alt Text
A man in a collared, green and blue plaid shirt and a woman in a navy dress with white polka dots stand in front of a poster board, looking at its contents. The sign appears to be a diagram of the ship they are standing on. Other people can be seen walking around behind them, many wearing sunglasses due to the bright, clear sky above.
