Abstract

Handwritten notes and nesting records of ornithologist Samuel A. Grimes concerning observations of Worthington’s marsh wrens, Wayne’s marsh wrens, long-billed marsh wrens, northern seaside sparrows, eastern short-tailed sparrows, Nelson’s sharp-tailed sparrows, American pipits, Maryland yellow-throats, eastern dowitchers, Florida yellow-throats, brown creepers, yellow palm warblers, white-eyed towhees, southern parula warblers, northern prairie warblers, southern palm warblers, Louisiana water thrush, western palm warblers, eastern house wrens, veery, song sparrows, pinewoods warblers, sandpipers, red-backed sandpipers, eastern hermit thrushes, white-throated sparrows, eastern savannah sparrows, boat-tailed grackles, eastern chipping sparrows, eastern ruby-crowned kinglets, eastern vesper sparrows, blue-headed vireos, swamp sparrows, Henslow's sparrows, rusty blackbirds, orange-crowned warblers, Florida grasshopper sparrows, Wayne’s clapper rails, and Bachman’s sparrows, between May 15, 1932, and October 8, 1935.
