Abstract

Handwritten notes and nesting records of ornithologist Samuel A. Grimes concerning observations of miscellaneous birds between April 15, 1944, and March 20, 1952. Includes notes on pigeon hawk, chimney swift, red-bellied woodpecker, nighthawk, whip-poor-will, horned owl, chuck-will's-widow, redwing, gulls, American bittern, bald eagle, white pelicans, green heron, man-o-war, glossy ibis, hummingbird, and godwit.
