Abstract

Ted Below (center) receives a standing ovation from his friends upon becoming the Florida Ornithological Society's (FOS) third Honorary Member during a spring FOS meeting in Tampa, Florida at the Holiday Inn Busch Gardens on April 16-18, 1999. Ann Schnapf and Rich Paul (not pictured) chaired the local committee. Ed and Marie Slaney can be seen applauding beside Below to the back left while Peter and Victoria Merritt can be seen clapping to the right.
