A European turtle dove (Streptopelia turtur) that appeared in the November (18-4) 1990 issue of the Florida Field Naturalist, accompanying an article by Wayne Hoffman, P. William Smith, and Pat Wells. The bird was photographed on Lower Matecumbe Key, Monroe County, Florida.
