Abstract

Florida Ornithological Society (FOS) members Peter Merritt (left) and David Goodwin (right) use binoculars to observe something in the distance behind the camera during a birding trip to the marshland in Leesburg, Florida, in October 2005. The two stand on a raised bridge, and Merritt uses a hand to block the sun from his eyes.
