Abstract
Three grown wood storks (Mycteria americana) tend to their young while a cattle egret (Bubulcus ibis) perches in its nest below in Fort Pierce, Florida. The photo was taken during the spring Florida Ornithological Society meeting held April 21, 2001 at the Pelican Yacht Club.
