Abstract
The publication date refers to the date of collection. The head of a great cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) bird skin lies next to the head of a double-crested cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus) skin for comparison. The great cormorant is significantly bigger and was collected by Dennis Paulson in Virginia Key.
