Abstract
Two photocopies of the first white-collared swift (Streptoprocne zonaris) specimen found in the United States. The bird was found deceased at a beachside home in Pensacola, Florida, on January 25, 1981. The top photo gives a side view of the swift while the second shows the bird on its back with its wings expanded, revealing the white feathers around its neck and the lighter-colored feathers on the underside of its wings.
