Final report: 40 p. The task force web site and accompanying survey data were harvested on November 9, 2005 and archived along with the final report. This proposal was prepared by the Continuing Education Task Force (CETF) in response to a charge to "prepare a model curriculum for continuing education in cataloging of e-resources and metadata" which should "address a variety of metadata types, interoperability issues; and general principles, practices and workflows for metadata projects" and "recommend specific changes and additions to continuing education programs," and "cover the period through 2005." The task force considered the proposal of the LIS Education Task Force (Action Item 5.1) for a revised LIS curriculum to educate new professionals in preparing this report.
