Abstract
Dr. E. Charlton “Skeeter” Prather speaks with Walter Livingstone on the highlights of his life and career in Florida Public Health. Livingstone speaks on his past in academics at the University of Miami and his time serving in the military during the Korean War, his transition into sanitarian work with the Dade County Health Department, his gradual rise in rank to environmental administrator; and a myriad of incidents and public health events that impacted his career, from swimming restrictions on Miami Beach to cyanide runoff from metal plating shops.
