Abstract
Dr. J. Basil Hall speaks with E. Charlton Prather on the highlights of his life and career in Florida Public Health. Hamlin speaks on his tenure as the original and organizing health officer for the Lake County Health Department, and discusses specific highlights of his history; including his time in the military, the myriad of important people he had worked with and become acquainted with in his time (including Charles Lindbergh and George H.W. Bush), his involvement as a founding member with the America Academy of Preventive Medicine, and his work on many important social health diseases in Florida.
