Abstract
An oral history interview with Ron Edwards who was the Chief Operating Officer for Tropicana. The interview focuses on Edward's national view of the citrus industry and the lawsuit against the Department of Florida Citrus. He discusses the Citrus Tariff Oversight Committee (CTOC) and CTOC organization, decision making processes, coalition building and lobbying efforts in Washington, D.C. with Karl Rove, Ken Mehlman (White House Director of Political Affairs), Secretary of Agriculture Ann Veneman, Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Zoellick.
