Abstract
"The purposes of this article are to provide an overview of trade secret law, an analysis of reasonable steps to preserve secrecy, an assessment of independent economic value (of trade secrets), an evaluation of misappropriation of trade secrets (including an outline of espionage techniques), an analysis of available legal remedies, a compendium of defenses to liability, and an outline of internal controls to protect an entity's trade secrets." (p.103)
