Abstract

Two separate programs that focused on the contributions of the "Greatest Generation" during the Second World War. The first program was a two-hour lecture with Schnur and Sweeney cosponsored by Senior College of Eckerd College and the St. Petersburg Public Library System. The first program took place at the Main Branch Auditorium on 18 October 2001. The second program spanned two days (9-10 November 2001) and included lectures and tours by Schnur. At this time, Schnur served as an administrator in Eckerd College's Program for Experienced Learners.
