Abstract
A pilot test of the Moodle learning management system was conducted to teach online educational technology course in a Teacher Education Program at a Southern College during Fall 2008 semester. This study examined preservice teachers’ experiences with Moodle and their course satisfaction. The study also investigated if Moodle could bring comparable results to warrant formal consideration as an additional alternative to the institution’s current Learning Management System, BlackBoard. The presentation of this paper will include description of the study, discussions of results, showcase of the course discussed in this study, and step by step course building process using Moodle.
