Excerpt: “This case study begins with a summary of events related to the Great Hanshin Earthquake. The case is then analyzed through the use of generalizable principles in four areas: the dangers of using one’s own cultural norms as a basis for moral approbation, the nature of a gift, paternalism, and the limits of pluralism.” (p.44)
