Abstract
When writing for teachers as the audience, authors need to make sure their manuscripts have interest, value, and relevance for practitioners. This article offers direction and assistance to those who aspire to publish practical articles in professional journals related to the education of persons with disabilities. General suggestions for writing, eight components of practical writing, and comments on mentoring are provided.
