Abstract
Alan Lewis reflects on Evergreen Cemetery through the stories of his great-grandparents, Lawrence and Patsy McCollum, who are buried there. He also shares that his other great-grandfather, Oscar McCollum, lived in Clearwater and ran a lawn service business. Lewis voices concern about the ongoing erasure of Black cemeteries and stresses the importance of honoring and remembering those laid to rest in them.
