Abstract
Death certificate for Charlie Stephens. According to the St. Petersburg Times on November 8, 1921, pages 1-2, Stephens was mistakenly shot and killed by a man named Eddie Ford, who was aiming for Stephens' brother Everett. The shooting started following an argument at a 9th Street pool room where the brothers were playing when Ford was allegedly interfering with the balls and Everett told him to stop.
