Abstract
Death certificate for Willie McClain Roberson. According to the St. Petersburg Times on August 31, 1925, page 7, Roberson (spelled Robinson in the article) was ambushed when stepping out of a restaurant at 10th Street and 4th Avenue South in St. Petersburg, Florida, when he was struck and killed by four bullets fired by a man police believed to be named Joe Scott.
