Diana Estorino Papers

Diana Estorino was born in Matanzas, Cuba on September 21, 1951. She became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1978 and worked as an electroencephalographic technologist in Tampa, FL. Estorino was very active in the Bay area's LGBTQ+ organizing and social community. Estorino served as an officer in the Suncoast Pride Coalition and also worked with groups such as the Women’s Energy bank and Tampa Salon to host social, educational, and activist forums. Estorino founded and edited the lesbian feminist periodical, Network News in 1990. She died on December 8, 2015. The Network News periodical, also on Digital Commons, is part of the Diana Estorino Papers.
