Abstract

Joe Guidry speaks with Jan Smith of the Environmental Lands Acquisition and Protection Program (ELAPP). In the interview, Smith recalls her initial interest in environmental matters on the governing board of the South Florida Water Management District, and her involvement the various projects that would soon shape the Conservation of Recreational Lands Program. Smith describes her position and responsibilities in the ELAPP project, and names many of the projects she deems most noteworthy or important to Florida.
