Abstract
Joe Guidry interviews August "Gus" Muench about the Environmental Lands Acquisition and Protection Program (ELAPP). In the interview, Muench recalls his childhood in Tampa, Florida, and what crabbing was like then as well as the state of Tampa Bay. Muench also speaks on the Shoreline Wildlife Corridor and the early years of ELAPP. Muench speaks fondly of the birds that call Cockroach Bay and the Tampa Bay area home.
