Abstract
Emily Holbrook, Jane Duncan, and Matt Barganier interview Sally Thompson for a second oral history interview. Thompson speaks about pro-environmental marches in the 1970s and how she got involved in the "Save Our Bay" organization which eventually led her to the Environmental Lands Acquisition and Protection Program (ELAPP). Thompson Speaks about her work on the Southwest Florida Water Management District board (nicknamed "Swiftmud") and how people could protect the environmental of the Tampa Bay region. Thompson also talks about a collection at the University of South Florida on Irish history from her father's, Francis Thompson, personal and academic papers.
