Abstract
A controlled fire in the Golden Aster Scrub area is managed behind powerlines, demonstrating careful vegetation management near infrastructure to prevent wildfires. The Golden Aster scrub is approximately 1,236 acres located west of Interstate 75 and north of Big Bend Road.
