Abstract
"While living in Florida, William Stork wrote and published An Account of East Florida. This document was scientific and highly promotional. In this work, Stork described the local flora and fauna, but also encouraged people to settle in Florida, lauding the colony for its fertile soil, accommodating climate, and future trade opportunities."
