Dear Papa:
Application enclosed. Please take it or have it taken to President. Col. Harries says work all possible pull. Get Prince Brewster, anybody. Col. H says it must be rushed. Rather good endorsements, I think. Try, but if we don’t succeed, I’ll get in someway anyhow.

Just rec’d. Mamma’s & Dots leNer, answer tonight. Just got “registered” at P.O. in Tampa and am off to get tooth fixed-had to wait. Get discharged? Not a bit of it, stomach getting well. Will write more tonight. Everybody thrilled by lightning.
