Abstract

Oil pollution in or near coastal areas of Pinellas County, Florida. A collision between two barges and a freighter in 1993 caused oil to spill into Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and local waterways.

Alt Text

A body of shallow, murky water with visible ripples and a dense line of mangrove trees along the edge. The scene appears to be taken during daylight under natural lighting conditions.
