Abstract

Oil pollution in or near coastal areas of Pinellas County, Florida. A collision between two barges and a freighter in 1993 caused oil to spill into Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and local waterways.

Alt Text

A person wading through shallow water near a dense mangrove forest with intertwined roots and green foliage. The water reflects the trees, creating a serene natural scene.
