Abstract

Oil pollution in or near coastal areas of Pinellas County, Florida. A collision between two barges and a freighter in 1993 caused oil to spill into Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and local waterways.

Alt Text

A sandy beach with people scattered around, some near the water and others on the shore in beach chairs. In the background, there are buildings and palm trees under a cloudy sky.
