Abstract
Oil pollution in or near coastal areas of Pinellas County, Florida. A collision between two barges and a freighter in 1993 caused oil to spill into Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and local waterways.
Alt Text
A dense mangrove forest with twisted roots extending into murky water, surrounded by tall trees and foliage. The scene captures the intricate network of branches and vegetation typical of a wetland ecosystem. There are red and yellow flags placed in the sand.
