Abstract
Oil pollution in or near coastal areas of Pinellas County, Florida. A collision between two barges and a freighter in 1993 caused oil to spill into Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, and local waterways.
Alt Text
A sandy beach with dark, oily liquid in front of a line of blue sand bags and a pile of sand in the foreground, buildings visible in the distance. There is a portable toilet on the sand and people walking along the beach. The ocean waves gently lap against the shore under a cloudy sky.
