The Center for Red Tide Tracking & Forecasting is a collaborative, multidisciplinary research effort aimed at improving red tide observation and forecasting tools for mitigating public health risks and economic impacts associated with harmful algal blooms (HAB) in the State of Florida.

A suite of observational and modeling approaches was employed by researchers at the University of South Florida (USF) and Oregon State University (OSU) toward meeting this goal.

This research is made possible with funding support from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC Agreement No. 20035).
