Abstract

Remarks by Dr. Donald M. Langenberg, who oversaw the University System of Maryland (1990-2002) and served as Chancellor of the University of Chicago (1983-1990), for the opening convocation at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Although the speech is dated October 28, 2004, the convocation was held on September 7, 2004.
