Fifty-two chapters comprise the intimate partner violence section of the Handbook. These chapters are organized into eight subsections: Definitions, Prevalence, Terms, and Theories; Intersectionality; Survivors, Economics, and Justice System Responses; Survivors: Health and Mental Health Impact and Responses; Perpetrators and Interventions; Prevention; Special Populations; and Special Topics.
