Note
Gibbs High School opened in 1927. It was named after Jonathan Clarkson Gibbs II, a Black Presbyterian minister who served as Florida Secretary of State and Superintendent of Public Instruction. It was the first high school in Pinellas County for Black students. It desegregated in 1971. It is now the home to the Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA), and the Business Economic, and Technology Academy (BETA).
