Note
St. Joseph's parish was established in 1896 when the Sisters of the Holy Name founded a school in a converted cigar factory at North Albany and Spruce Streets in West Tampa. The congregation used the school until 1903 when a small wooden church was built in six weeks in 1903. They have been at the Cherry Street location since the end of 1964.
