Captain Mills Olcott Burnham Grave
Abstract
Captain Burnham was the lighthouse keeper at Cape Canaveral for 33 years until his death on April 17, 1886. He is an early Florida pioneer, serving one term (1841-42) in the Territorial Legislature, and was a Sheriff in Duval County, Florida. He was made lighthouse keeper at the Cape in 1853.
