Cape Canaveral Space Force Station – 3D Historic Launch Complexes
Launch Complex 20 LiDAR 3D Model
Abstract
Space Launch Complex 20 (SLC-20) is a launch facility located at the north end of ICBM Road on the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS). SLC-20 was one of four launch complexes, along with Launch Complexes 15, 16, and 19, constructed between 1957 and 1959 by the United States Air Force as part of a program of research and development of the Titan I Ballistic Missile. Over the ensuing six-plus decades, the complex underwent several modifications to meet requirements for changing space missions. Today, only the blockhouse control structure stands as an existing historic remains at the complex, which is being repurposed and reused for modern launch activities.
