Questions to be explored in this workshop: What is design? What is design thinking? How might design thinking be applied outside of traditional design problems?
Description
This workshop will introduce design thinking as a problem-solving tool and set of methodologies. The workshop will explore the topic of modern dating. The questions at large are what, if anything, is frustrating about modern dating; and what can be done to make modern dating a better experience? Dating, for the sake of this workshop and its diverse participants, can be understood to range from the context of dating your spouse or current partner to dating as a single person. Participants will pair up and go through the design thinking phases of empathizing, defining a problem, ideating a variety of solutions, prototyping potential solutions, and iterating those solutions based on tests. This workshop explores how, through creativity, problems can be identified and solved.
