Abstract
This is an oral history interview with historian and journalist Hampton Dunn, in which he discusses the history of the radio station WDAE 620 AM, which is the first radio station licensed in the state of Florida. The station was formerly owned by the Tampa Daily Times, the newspaper for which Dunn was a longtime reporter. Dunn describes some of the people associated with WDAE, some of the events it covered, and the book he wrote about the station.
